Damian Lillard was unstoppable in the Portland Trail Blazers’ 132-126 comeback win over the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday. The Blazers’ superstar registered a season-high 40 points and 13 assists with zero turnovers.

According to NBA.com, Dame became the first player ever to record such numbers without having a turnover in his stat line. He also had one rebound and three steals in 42 minutes of play.

Furthermore, Lillard and McCollum became the first Blazers’ duo to record 25+ points and 10+ assists in a game since Clyde Drexler and Terry Porter in 1992.

McCollum had another impressive performance this season with 28 points and 10 assists. The Blazers were able to return from a 20-point deficit early in the second quarter and secure their fourth consecutive win.

Terry Stotts’ team improved to 7-4 after their win over Sacramento. They have the chance to climb up the Western Conference rankings as they are about to play their next seven games in Portland.
