New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson is out for tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers, the team announced.
Williamson being out is related to an inconclusive COVID-19 test, as well as timing of the results of another test, according to ESPN’s Andrew Lopez.
The team believes it’s nothing of significance.
More information regarding Williamson’s status and possible quarantine time should be provided in the coming days.
In nine games, the 20-year-old is averaging 21.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.3 steals per game.
