The Golden State Warriors’ sharp shooter Klay Thompson is set to sit out the second straight season after tearing his Achilles this past offseason. While his return to action is many months away, there are signs of optimism in his recovery.

Thompson visited the Dubs and head coach Steve Kerr before their game against the Indiana Pacers. According to Anthony Slater, he told Kerr that “the worst” of his rehab is behind him.

“He’s going to be get into the pool next week and start running in the pool. He’s very upbeat about everything,” Kerr said about Klay.
