Mavericks expected to have enough players for next game

The Dallas Mavericks are headed to Charlotte for their next game against the Hornets on Jan. 13, which would indicate that it is set to be played as scheduled.

The Mavericks are expected to have 12 players available for the game, according to Marc Stein of The New York Times.

The Mavericks’ last game against the New Orleans Pelicans on Jan. 11. was postponed after the Mavericks didn’t have the league-required eight players.

Four Mavericks’ players have reportedly tested positive for COVID-19.

While it’s unknown who the four players are, reports have suggested that Maxi Kleber was one of them.

Jalen Brunson, Dorian Finney-Smith and Josh Richardson were self-isolating, so one of those three tested positive, while the other two were close contacts.

Along with the four players who tested positive, one other player will remain out due to contact tracing for the game against the Hornets.
