Panathinaikos is welcoming ASVEL Villeurbanne tomorrow night (13/1), for the first out of two Euroleague matches this week. The “greens” will be missing their captain, Ioannis Papapetrou due to a minor knee injury. Panathinaikos has decided to protect their captain ahead a tough schedule in the Euroleague.

His participation in the game against Fenerbahce (15/1) is also doubtful. Coach Charalampidis mentioned: “We won’t be able to have our captain, Ioannis Papapetrou for the game against ASVEL due to a minor knee injury. We want to protect the player. We’ll cover his absence with the players we already have who are ready to step in and do their best for the team. We’ll see if Papapetrou will be able to play on Firday against Fenerbahce. Other than that we have no other absences”.
