Bradley Beal went off with 34 points helping the Washington Wizards snap a three-game losing streak with a win over the Phoenix Suns. Washington improved to 3-8 but still remains among the bottom teams of the Eastern Conference.

According to Beal, it was the first game this season when the Wizards guarded the right way. The win over the Suns was reached without Russell Westbrook who missed the game due to an injury.

“We had our hands full, but I think we did a good job defending. Tonight was the first time I can say we guarded the right way. With intensity, with focus, with some IQ. So maybe we can move up from the parked cars now,” Beal said per Duane Rankin.
