Austin Rivers explains how COVID-19 could be an advantage for the Knicks

COVID-19 continues to afflict the world and therefore the NBA as well. Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics is the latest player to test positive.

The Knicks are one of the few teams that have not yet been affected by COVID-19 and Austin Rivers, as reported by The Post, believes this could be an advantage for New York if they continue to follow the protocols:

“The number one skill is availability,” Rivers said. “If we do our job and remain available, it gives us a chance to win every night. It gives us an advantage because you see a lot of teams having star players – I just saw Tatum today with Boston go down, so you get to play some of these teams missing some of their guys, if we’re fully loaded, it just gives us another advantage.”
