The Lakers should find a way to bring JaVale McGee back to the team, according to former NBA champion and current analyst Kendrick Perkins.
Perkins believes the Lakers should bring McGee back in order to improve their defensive performance especially inside the paint.
“The Bulls are picking on Gasol every time down the court putting him in every pick n roll! Lakers might need to hit the Cavs and get McGee back some how. Real Talk!” Perkins tweeted.
The Lakers traded McGee to the Cleveland Cavaliers in order to create cap space and sign Gasol. Even though he is a great defender and shot blocker, Gasol is more versatile and can be an extra weapon offensively.
