The Los Angeles Clippers seemed ready to add an easy win to their W-L column on Friday night, after taking a 22-point (85-63) lead over the Golden State Warriors late in the third quarter.
However, the Clippers lost the lead and as a result they lost the game after allowing Steve Kerr’s team to make an impressive 20-52 run.
The LA Clippers head coach Ty Lue explained why his team lost the commanding lead and experienced its fourth loss in the first 10 games of the regular season.

“Taking care of the basketball is one. They had 28 points off our 19 turnovers. But then also just continue to play the same way. Don’t get comfortable and start taking some bad shots, questionable shots,” Lue said post-game.
The Clippers shot an abysmal 35.1% from the field in the second half making just 13 shots in 24 minutes of the game. They also made questionable choices in offense having a 43.2% in EFG% and just 48.8% in TS% in the last 24 minutes of the game.
On the other side, the Warriors went off in the second half shooting 54.8% from the field and 50.0% from beyond the arc.
They had a sky-high 70.3% on TS% and 67.9% on EFG% with Steph Curry going off with 24 points in just 17.24 minutes of play.
