Lorenzo Brown’s buzzer-beater against Crvena Zvezda

Fenerbahce beat Crvena Zvezda with a score of 71-73 all thanks to a buzzer-beater floater performed by Lorenzo Brown in Aleksandar Nikolić Hall.

The ex-player of Crvena Zvezda, Lorenzo Brown, became the game hero in his return to Belgrade by hitting the floater while Ognjen Dobrić and Quino Colom were guarding him.

With this win, Fenerbahce now has a three-game winning streak and improved to 8-10. On the other side, Crvena Zvezda has a 6-12 record and lost its chance to win three consecutive EuroLeague home games for the first time since 2018.

Crvena Zvezda was fighting all 40 minutes to protect the home court and was leading by 66-59 at about 5 minutes till the end of the match. In those critical moments, the home team allowed the opponent to take the lead completely to return and celebrate in Belgrade.

Already mentioned Lorenzo Brown, together with Dyshawn Pierre, led Fenerbahce with 13 points each against the Serbian squad. Besides Brown and Dyshawn, Marko Gudurić added 11 and both Jan Vesely and Danilo Barthel ended the match with 10 points.

On the other side, for Crvena Zvezda, Johhny O’Bryant scored 17, Dobrić 12, Dejan Davidovac 11, and Colom 10.
