Kings’ De’Aaron Fox addresses the drama surrounding Marvin Bagley’s father comments

After a promising start early, the Sacramento Kings are once again in the midst of locker room drama. In particular, Marvin Bagley’s father took a shot at the Sacramento Kings asking the team to trade his son.

Then De’Aaron Fox’s dad agreed with Marvin Bagley II posting under a Sacramento Kings’ page asking the franchise to trade the young forward.

The Kings’ leader and star point guard De’Aaron Fox addressed the situation around Bagley, after the loss to the Golden State Warriors Monday.

(via Jason Jones of The Athletic):

“I don’t think anybody’s out there playing basketball worried about two tweets. And if you are, this ain’t what you should be doing because m*******s gonna tweet you everyday of your life while you’re playing in this league.”

Bagley seemed really impacted by the recent events, as he stayed on the court for 24 minutes registering just five points and nine rebounds having one of the worst plus/minus (-27) against the Warriors.

The Kings conceded their fourth loss in the last five games, but the last game against the Warriors was the worst of the bunch for Luke Walton’s team.
