Rudy Gobert addressed the recent comments that NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal made regarding his new contract with the Utah Jazz.
O’Neal could not understand how the Jazz decided to spend so much money to sign an extension with Gobert.
“There is no beef. If people wanna keep speaking negatively about me or keep discrediting what i do it’s on them and all that does is show who they are. I will always be happy for a brother beating the odds. And i’m gonna keep beating the odds,” Gobert tweeted.
Gobert signed a five-year, max extension with the Jazz, worth $205M. This is the biggest contract for a center in NBA history.
