The Golden State Warriors rookie James Wiseman witnessed a spectacle that he has seen before only on NBA 2K as his superstar teammate Steph Curry dropped 62 points against the Portland Trail Blazers.
After the game, the number two pick of the 2020 NBA Draft admitted that he used to play with Curry on NBA 2K and he would drop 60 points. This time, it was different because it happened in real life and with Wiseman on the court.
“It’s crazy. It reminded me of 2K because I used to play with Steph all the time and I used to drop like 60. So just like actually watching it personally, that was phenomenal. He’s a legend so just watching in person, it was great,” he said, per Nick Friedell.
