The Los Angeles Lakers have emerged as the favorite to win the NBA championship, according to a media survey.
In a survey conducted by SB Nation, 40% of NBA fans consider the Lakers the favorite to repeat this season.
Aside from the Lakers, fans have also included the Los Angeles Clippers, the Milwaukee Bucks and the Brooklyn Nets in the title picture.
The Lakers bolstered their roster in offseason, signing Marc Gasol, Wesley Matthews, Dennis Schroder and Montrezl Harrell.
As a result, they start the season from the pole position to repeat. After five games this season, the Lakers have a 3-2 record.
