Pascal Siakam was not in the active roster for the game between the Toronto Raptors and the New York Knicks.

The Raptors decided to hold Siaka out of the game for disciplinary reasons, Toronto head coach Nick Nurse said.

“It was a discipline thing for an internal matter, and that’s the decision we went with tonight. Just a certain way we want to do things, and everybody’s got to be a part of that. It’s as simple as that,” Nurse told reporters, via Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports.

The Raptors decided to bench Siakam, as the young big man exited the floor early after fouling out in the game against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Without Siakam, the Raptors registered their first win this season (83-100) and improved to 1-3.
