Frank Vogel shared his thoughts on Becky Hammon coaching the San Antonio Spurs against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Hammon took over the Spurs after Gregg Popovich got ejected with two technical fouls.
“She’s here for a reason. … I think she’s going to be a head coach in this league someday,” Vogel told reporters, via Ryan Ward of Lakers Daily.
For her part, Hammon became the first woman in NBA history to serve as head coach.
