Damian Lillard opened up about the rivalry between the Portland Trail Blazers and the Los Angeles Clippers.
Lillard denied there is a rivalry between the two teams, despite his beef with Paul George and Patrick Beverley.
“I thought a rivalry was built on the court, you know what I’m saying? I don’t think this is a rivalry,” Lillard said about the Blazers/Clipper rivalry, via team reporter Casey Holdahl.
Lillard started a beef with George and Leonard last season, which intensified during the season restart in the Orlando “bubble”.
The Blazers and the Clippers will face off on Wednesday at Staples Center.
