Maccabi’s big man, Othello Hunter suffered an injury last night (29/12) during the game against Zenit St. Petersburg in Tel Aviv. The 34-year old American center left the match and headed to the hospital with Maccabi Tel Aviv updating the player’s status on Wednesday saying that a retinal injury was ruled out.
Further examinations on the cut under his eye will determine his availability in Maccabi’s upcoming matches in the Euroleague and the Israeli league.
