Journeyman McGrath inks deal with Anadolu Efes

American guard Donnie McGrath has joined Anadolu Efes from Liga Endesa side Manresa in a season-long deal, it has been confirmed.

The 30-year-old McGrath, who has dual American-Irish citizenship, left the Spanish side a mere 48 hours after joining them on a short-term deal.

It was reported that McGrath had a get-out clause after a month with Manresa, should a better offer come forward.

Journeyman McGrath, who spent four years at Providence between 2002 and 2006, has had spells in Italy, Greece and France. He has Euroleague experience with Zalgiris in 2013 but in his eight-years of professional basketball has never really settled with any club.

He has never played a solid two seasons at any club. Anadolu Efes will mark his first spell in Turkey, and his thirteenth club overall.
