Tyler Herro addressed the blowout loss of the Miami Heat to the Milwaukee Bucks at home (144-97).
Herro said the Bucks wanted to make a statement and did not want to just beat the Heat.
“They definitely came to Miami with a purpose, and that was to make us feel embarrassed,” Herro told reporters, via Ira Winderman of the Sun Sentinel.
The Bucks made 29 three-pointers and set a new NBA record. Herro and the Heat will have the chance to redeem themselves on Wednesday, when they face Milwaukee in the second game of the back-to-back set.
