Erik Spoelstra offered a major update on Jimmy Butler’s injury situation ahead of Tuesday’s matchup between the Miami Heat and the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Heat’s head coach said the veteran superstar is doubtful for the game against Milwaukee. Butler stopped playing midway during the Heat’s Christmas Day game against the New Orleans Pelicans because of stiffness in his right ankle.

Miami is coming off the shortest offseason in the history of the NBA, as they reached the NBA Finals. Butler had a crucial role in Miami’s Finals run just a couple of months back.

He averaged 19.9 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game last year with the Heat. Miami is facing Milwaukee on back-to-back matchups on Tuesday and Wednesday.
