Karl-Anthony Towns will not play against the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday, as the Minnesota Timberwolves announced.
Towns is dealing with a wrist injury (dislocated left wrist) and will miss his first game this season.
As the Wolves announced, Towns will be evaluated on a weekly basis, while his injury does not need surgery.
Towns averaged 19 points, 11.5 rebounds and five assists in the first two games of the Wolves, with Minnesota making a perfect start (2-0).
