Obi Toppin is not expected to return to action for the next 7-10 days for the New York Knicks. Toppin apparently suffered the injury in the team’s first game Wednesday at Indiana.

He remained out for the home opener against the Philadelphia 76ers, where the Knicks fell to Doc River’s team, recording their second loss in their first two games of the season.

Toppin was the 8th pick of the 2020 Draft, and he earned his first regular season appearance on Wednesday, where he shot 3-from-12 from the field.

Obi Toppin’s injury will be re-evaluated in the near future with the hope of returning on the court as fast as possible. The New York franchise is looking to rebuild and Toppin is an important part of their future.
