Cleveland Cavaliers’ superstar Kevin Love is expected to make his season debut in the game against the Detroit Pistons. The veteran forward missed the season opener vs. the Charlotte Hornets with a calf injury.

The Cavs opened the season with a win against the Charlotte Hornets. Love was ready to get back in the court for the opening night, but his team decided that two more days of rest would be beneficial.

Love was sidelined since the first preseason game against Indiana on December 12. Last season, Love averaged 17.6 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game with the Cavaliers.

The star forward will lead the young core of the Cleveland Cavaliers for another season, being the last member of the 2016 championship team that remains with the organization.

Dante Exum, who also missed time with injury, is also expected to play in Saturday’s game against Detroit.
