Former Suns Matt Barnes & Amar’e Stoudemire recently looked back on their experiences in Phoenix during an episode of the All The Smoke Podcast.
The two both told stories of Robert Sarver disrespecting them and being reckless with his words.
Barnes revealed that he almost slapped the owner in front of his wife for talking behind his back when he left Phoenix. While Amar’e said Sarver told him he had guys that could replace him tomorrow during 2010 NBA Free Agency.

Amar’e Stoudemire: “That man brought in Hedo Turkoglu & Josh Childress. I said, ‘Man, you got to be kidding me.’ So I end up going to New York.”
