Jaylen Brown is not giving too much thought on the Boston Celtics loss to the Brooklyn Nets. The high-flying forward called the regular season a marathon as his team should not be too much disappointed after a loss or hyped after a win in this stage of the season.

“It’s a journey,” he said. “It’s about the marathon not the sprint. The team that looked great two games in or in the preseason may not look great towards the end of the season.

“We won’t get too happy with winning games or losing games right now, we just gotta keep building great habits and we’ll be in a position that we wanna be in as a team.”

The Celtics fought for the first half remaining close to the Brooklyn Nets, before Kevin Durant exploding for 16 points in the third quarter to lead his team to the win.

Brown went on to score a team-high 27 points shooting 11-from-25 from the field. He also grabbed eight rebounds to conclude an impressive stat line, which was not enough for Boston against the Nets’ offensive firepower.
