Rick Carlisle had nothing but good words to say about the defending NBA champions Los Angeles Lakers.
Carlisle, the head coach of the Dallas Mavericks, called the Lakers ‘the best defensive team in the NBA’.
“Carlisle says the Lakers are the NBA’s best defensive team, and that they won last season’s championship in the bubble ‘by dominating on the defensive end,'” Brad Townsend of Dallas Morning News reports.
Carlisle and the Mavs will face the Lakers on Christmas Day at Staples Center. Both teams are coming off defeats in their season opener.
