Frank Vogel reflected on the season debut of Montrezl Harrell and Dennis Schroder with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Vogel was happy with the way Schroder and Harrell played and noted they will be ‘big time players’ for the Lakers during the season.
“Those guys are going to be big time players for us this year. I was very encouraged,” Vogel said, via Mike Trudell of Spectrum Sportsnet.
Schroder flirted with the triple-double, with 14 points (5/15 shooting), 12 rebounds and eight assists. Meanwhile, Harrell added 17 points (6/7 shooting) and 10 boards.
The Lakers were defeated by the Clippers in the season opener (116-109).
