Kevin Durant is playing his first official NBA game since the injury that occurred during the 2019 NBA Finals, back when he was a member of the Golden State Warriors.

The two-time Finals MVP reunited with his former team in the 2020/21 season opener between the Warriors and the Nets. Before the season’s tip-off, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant reunited on the court during the pregame shootaround.

Durant and Curry greeted each other midcourt with a quick handshake and a hug. Following the hug, they spent a second chatting before returning to pregame warmups.

After the season opener, Durant will make his return to Bay Area at Chase Center on Feb. 13.
