Real Madrid extends home winning streak to seven games – EuroLeague Round 16: Results and Highlights

Real Madrid decimated ALBA Berlin at Wizink Center (91-62) and earned its seventh straight home win in the EuroLeague.

Real took over from the second quarter onwards and never looked back, cruising to its 10th win in the last 11 EuroLeague games.

Thanks to this win, Real is tied with Barcelona for second in the standings (11-5), whereas ALBA dropped to 6-9.

In Istanbul, Shane Larkn helped Anadolu Efes defeat Barcelona and snap a three-game EuroLeague losing streak (86-79).

The American guard had 23 points and handed the Catalans their second defeat in a row (for the first time in the EuroLeague this season).

Efes improved to 8-8, whereas Barcelona dropped to 11-5, tied with Real Madrid.

Maccabi Tel-Aviv rallied past Panathinaikos and claimed its second consecutive win in the EuroLeague. The Israelis endured the comeback of the “Greens” from a 16-point deficit and sealed the deal.

Maccabi improved to 7-9, whereas Panathinaikos dropped to 5-10. Nemanja Nedovic had a career night for the visitors (career-high 39 points), yet he could not prevent another loss for the Greeks.

In France, CSKA Moscow edged ASVEL Villeurbanne (78-87) and extended its winning streak to 11 games. The Muscovites remained on top (13-3), but saw Will Clyburn exit the game with a left leg injury and did not return.

For its part, ASVEL saw its two-game winning streak come to an end and dropped to 5-10.

Zenit Saint Petersburg dominated Crvena Zvezda at home (98-69), setting multiple records in the competition.

The Russians set new club records in the EuroLeague in winning margin (29), points (98), three-pointers (16) and PIR (115).

Zenit improved to 9-5. Meanwhile, Zvezda dropped to 5-11.
