Kyle Kuzma tied his future with the Los Angeles Lakers after signing a 2+1 contract extension worth $40 million this offseason. The third year will be a player option.
Lakers head coach Frank Vogel talked about the 25-year-old forward, saying he is a big part of the team. “He’s one of our hardest workers. He’s a team-first guy…He’s a big part of last year’s championship and a huge part of what we want to do this year as well,” Vogel said per Ryan Ward.
Kuzma himself said that it was the “right situation” which led him to signing the extension and that it was a “win win” for both parties.
