More than four years have passed since Kyrie Irving hit a clutch three-pointer over Stephen Curry in the 2016 NBA Finals. Along with LeBron’s block, Kyrie’s shot was the most impactful play of Game 7 of the series.

In Curry’s latest media session, a Warriors’ reporter reminded him of that shot, with the GSW’s superstar having a hilarious reaction to the question.

“Why you bringing up old stuff, man?” Curry said, per Drew Shiller NBC Sports. “I had a great attitude coming into this. You trying to bring up old stuff …

“Ummm, I think about it but it’s not like the first thought [that comes to mind] when I see that guy. What’s done is done.”

The Warriors lost a 3-1 lead during the 2016 NBA Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers. It’s pretty understandable for Curry to not want to get reminded of a Finals’ loss that resulted to an NBA title loss.

The Brooklyn Nets and the Warriors will face off on Dec. 22 in the 2020-21 season opener.
