The Sacramento Kings waived Frank Kaminsky, Shams Charania reports. According to the Turkish reporter Ugur Ozan Sulak, Fenerbahce will try to convince Kaminsky to move to Europe.

Last season, the big man out of Wisconsin registered averages of 9.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists for the Phoenix Suns.

After a successful career at collegiate level, Kaminsky started his NBA career with the Charlotte Hornets. He then joined the Phoenix Suns as a free agent.

Fenerbahce head coach Igor Kokoskov had previously negotiated with Kaminsky, but he was still determined to play in the NBA.
