LeBron James said he and Anthony Davis have the same winning mentality and both want to win more titles with the Lakers.
James made it clear that he and Davis want to ‘win at the highest level’ with the Lakers this season.
“I want to win at the highest level, and AD wants to do the same. He wants to be one of the best, and we know that championships are the holy grail in this league. To be crowned a champion, to become multiple champions, that’s what it’s all about.
His confidence is out the roof and it’s up to us as his teammates to continue to help his confidence continue to soar,” James said about Davis, via Harrison Faigen of Silver Screen and Roll.
James and Davis did not play a lot in preseason, but looked ready for the season opener vs the Clippers on Tuesday.
