The Los Angeles Lakers played their last preseason game as they defeated the Phoenix Suns for the second time. LeBron James had 20 points, eight rebounds and four assists as the defending NBA champions edged the Suns by a single point 114-113.
After the game LeBron talked about the Lakers’ preparation for the coming season which starts next Tuesday. According to him, it’s a marathon and the players know that. While they are still far from being where they want to be, they understand that it is kay at this point.
“I feel like we’ve put in the work… we’ve gotten better as the days went on,” the four-time NBA champion said after the game via Spectrum SportsNet.
