Bronny James turned 16-years-old this year but he is already projected to have a successful career in the NBA. Will he be as good as his father LeBron James? Former NBA star Gilbert Arenas is confident that Bronny has all the tools to be a great player.

Arenas sees many similarities between LeBron and his son as he recalled telling it to the Los Angeles Lakers superstar himself. Looking ahead, the Washington Wizards legends sees Bronny becoming the number one player in the country in his senior year.

“He makes the perfect player. He’s gonna play the game the way he sees it. So if he’s gonna go into the game with 20 assists, he’s gonna for 20 assists. I think he’s gonna be the number one player in the country his senior year,” Arenas said on The Complex Sports Podcast.

“Because his senior year he will be 6’8″-6’9″ with a 44 inch vertical at the point guard position all of 220. Just those measurements alone, you the number one player in the country.” Arenas also described Bronny as more of a 1-2 while his father as a 1-3.
