Shannon Sharpe shared his thoughts on the preseason debut of Kevin Durant with the Brooklyn Nets.
Durant played for the first time since Game 5 of the 2019 NBA Finals and had 15 points for the Nets.
For his part, Sharpe believes Durant was ‘rusty’ in his debut and the two-time NBA champion and Finals MVP will need time to get back in rhythm.
“It’s his first game in 18 months and obviously he’s going to be rusty, but I thought he played well. Once he got a rhythm, you can tell he’s going to be just fine,” Sharpe told Skip Bayless during his appearance on the Undisputed.
