Lakers legend Derek Fisher shared his thoughts on Talen Horton-Tucker after the 20-year-old went for 33 points in win over the Clippers.
According to him, THT is showing that he can really play basketball and it isn’t just hype or noise. “It’s hard to say in game situations and in preseason. I think the comments from teammates and coaches tell a little more,” Fisher said on Spectrum SportsNet.
“30 points in preseason game if you are playing 30 plus minutes… everybody in the NBA can play. So I don’t to get all the hype on the stats.
“But when you hear his teammates are not just hyping him up and he can it up. His coaches are not just talking about him in the way and it’s just noise. This young man can really play basketball, and I think it’s catching everyone off guard because we didn’t get to see him a lot last year.”
