Kyle Lowry will not be available for the first two preseason games of the Toronto Raptors against the Charlotte Hornets (December 12, 14).

As Dough Smith of the Toronto Star reports, Lowry remained in Tampa, Florida and did not travel to Charlotte. Yet, the team did not mention the reason for his absence.

Three members of the Raptors tested positive for the coronavirus last week and Lowry could be one of them. All three of them will be isolated for 10 days.

Lowry is entering the final year of his contract and is set to earn $30.5M next season. For their part, the Raptors will also face the Miami Heat on December 18 and will start the regular season against the New Orleans Pelicans on December 23.
