Early in his NBA career LeBron James was huge fan of Allen Iverson, his former teammate Larry Hughes revealed. According to him, young LeBron wanted to know everything about AI from Hughes, who played with Iverson on the Philadelphia 76ers.
Even though Hughes also played with Michael Jordan, James was less curious about him because he had a personal relationship with the Chicago Bulls legend.

“He was such a big fan of Iverson. He wanted to know everything about Allen. His curiosity about MJ was a little bit different at the time because he had a relationship with Michael so he did not have as many questions. But he was always asking about how AI was able to get his his job done at 6-foot. What sort of person was he in the locker room?”
