Kyle Kuzma shared his thoughts about his role with the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2020/21 season.
Kuzma is not sure what his place in coach Frank Vogel’s tactics will be, but also noted he should elevate his game defensively.
“I mean, you never truly know until the ball goes up and the season starts going, so we’ll see. It’s ultimately what Frank views me as, and we’ll see.
I just want to build on what I did in the playoffs from a defensive standpoint. Just take those steps as a defender, just improve my all around game.
That’s just always the process every offseason, every time, you always try to just build on what you did last season and just improve,” Kuzma told reporters, via Christian Rivas of Silver Screen and Roll.
Kuzma saw his playing time diminish last season, due to the arrival of Anthony Davis, yet he played an important role in helping the Lakers claim the title.
