Chris Paul shared his excitement for what he has seen from the Phoenix Suns during the first days of training camp.

Paul, who joined the Suns via trade from the Oklahoma City Thunder a few weeks ago, said he has got a chance to understand why the Suns were undefeated in the “bubble”.

“I’m getting a chance to see first hand why they were so good in the bubble and the jump that they made from the season to the bubble.

I think that’s what’s been really cool to see — to see Cam Johnson, to know Jevon Carter before I got here. Just to see how many hungry guys we got.

I talk about E’Twaun Moore and Langston Galloway a lot because I played against them for years — to see, like I know they can hoop, but to see what type of guys they are in the locker room already is gonna be big for our team.

The camaraderie that we sort of built already. Through team group texts … our team seems like we’ve been together for a while just because we got guys that want to compete, want to work hard but you can tell everyone enjoys being in the gym,” Paul said, via arizonasports.com.

With the addition of Paul and the presence of star guard Devin Booker, the Suns hope they will make it to the playoffs for the first time after many years.
