The Los Angeles Lakers made some bold moves this offseason, adding Montrezl Harrell, Dennis Schroder, Marc Gasol and Wesley Matthews. However, the biggest move was locking the team’s superstars. LeBron James signed a two-year $85 million extension to his contract and Anthony Davis penned a new five-year deal with the Lakers worth $190.

This will keep James and Davis together at least until 2023 when LeBron will become a free agent. They are both prepared to give everything to the Lakers in return, James said when talking to media.

“We’re here and we’re committed to this frachise. We’re going to give everything we have to this franchise. The Lakers believe in us, and they rewarded us with those contracts. It’s a great partnership,” LeBron said per Mike Trudell.
