Seth Curry is expected to have a different and more advanced role with the Philadelphia 76ers, compared to the one he had with the Dallas Mavericks.

Curry said he is ready for the challenge, as Doc Rivers and the Sixers plan to put the ball to his hands more often.

“I think I’ve shown in the past. I think Doc is saying that because he’s seen it on film over the past few years of me having an opportunity to make plays to the ball in my hands. Run a lot of pick and roll, a lot of handoffs, stuff like that.

I like to make plays on the floor. I think that’s something that we need on this team as well, so I’m looking forward to just doing whatever they asked me,” Curry said, via Sixers Wire.

Curry is one of the best three-point shooters in the NBA, averaging 45.2% in the 2019-20 season and 44.3% in his career.
