James Harden did not practice with the Houston Rockets on Sunday, per head coach Stephen Silas.
Silas, who took over the reins following Mike D’Antoni’s dismissal, will hope to see Harden remain with the team and, cited in quotes from ESPN’s Tim McMahon, revealed the guard could not have joined his teammates due to coronavirus protocols but is expected to be available for an individual workout in the evening.
Harden has been the subject of much discussion during the offseason and has been linked with a move to the Brooklyn Nets. Whether he stays put in the wake of Russell Westbrook’s trade to the Washington Wizards remains to be seen.
