Anthony Davis opened up about why he wanted to see the Los Angeles Lakers re-sign Jared Dudley and Markieff Morris.
Davis said Dudley and Morris were the two teammates that gave him and LeBron James the most confidence in themselves.
“Him (Jared Dudley) and Markieff are the two guys that give me and LeBron the most confidence in ourselves. It’s good to have teammates like that who have your back and want the best for you,” Davis said, via Harrison Faigen of SB Nation.
The Lakers re-signed Dudley and Morris to one-year contracts. Meanwhile, Davis agreed to a five-year, $190M max contract with the defending champions.
