Bayern Munich survived a close-fought affair against Khimki (80-77) to put a stop to a two-game losing streak. In a contest that came to end on a dramatic note, Bayern’s Nick Weiler-Babb put four crucial free-throws to put the game away for the home team.

These were they only points Babb scored in the contest finishing with three assists and three rebounds. Wade Baldwin had a team-high 19 points for Andrea Trinchieri’s squad with sharpshooter Paul Zipser adding 18.

Bayern improved to 8-4, while Khimki remained at the bottom of the regular season standings. For the Russians, Alexey Shved 20-point performance was not enough.

As a result, Khimki conceded its third loss in the last three EuroLeague outings dropping to 2-9.
