Anthony Davis opened up about his decision to commit his future to the Los Angeles Lakers by signing a five-year, $190 million contract. According to the superstar forward, one of the main reasons was him liking everything about the Lakers organization.
“I love this organization and I love the coaching staff that we have … I just figured why not be here? I just thought it was best for me to go ahead and lock it in,” Davis said per Mike Trudell.
Another reason that played role in Davis’ decision to agree to a long-term deal was his injury history as reported by Marc J. Spears.
