ALBA Berlin sets three-pointer record to hold-off Valencia

ALBA Berlin close the week with an impressive 92-100 victory over Valencia to claim its fourth win in EuroLeague’s regular season.

The German club took a double-digit lead in the third quarter, and preserved it almost until the end in a high-scoring affair.

ALBA made a team-record 17 threes shooting an impressive 53.1% from three-point range. EuroLeague’s veteran Jayson Granger was the best player on the court with 17 points, five assists and five made-threes.

Furthermore, Luke Sikma followed with 15 points and 12 rebounds to record his first double-double of the season. The Germans improved to 4-7, while Valencia concede just its second loss in the last six EuroLeague games dropping to 7-4.
