Sports analyst Skip Bayless reacted to LeBron James signing a two-year, $85 million extension with the Los Angeles Lakers. The King will turn 36 at the end of this December and Bayless sees his latest contract as the beginning of the end of James’ career.

LeBron’s current contract, including extension, will expire at the end of 2022-2023 season when he will be 38 years old. Some speculate that his extension was coordinated with James’ son Bronny potentially being drafted in 2023.

“From my heart, this made me a little sad because it looks like you can see the end of the tunnel for LeBron. It feels like the beginning of the end,” Bayless said on UNDISPUTED.
